As the world battles the global pandemic and our own NHS and care sectors show inspiring courage alongside the resolve of the public at large, here at Online Carpets, we are doing everything we can to keep colleagues, business partners and customers safe, while maintaining the best possible service we can in light of the difficulties we all face.

We are taking the best advice from the Government and Public Health England when planning for the mitigation of the potential impacts of the virus. Many of our staff are working at home, and our showrooms are closed, but our safe-adapted courier services are operating normally, with deliveries still available across the UK on a 1-3 day service.

All deliveries are now ‘contact free’ for the safety of our customers and drivers, with no signature required for the receipt of goods.

We face some issues with the closure of manufacturer partner’s production facilities, but we are fortunate that our policy of holding large stocks of our most popular lines mean that we can still offer great customer choice and many thousands of products are still available.

As we all wait for solutions and further guidance to combat this global crisis, we have made many changes within the business to maintain the continuity of our usual, fast and efficient service.

A new, improved cloud based business management and staff communication system has facilitated the maximum possible amount of colleague home working and we have provided those still working within the business, the best protection possible; with segregation, distancing measures, increased sanitising, adapted processes and workflows.
